Thank You to everyone who has helped with parks this past season:
To the 4 people who helped with the cutting of willows around the pond and the disposal of
the willows, along with the non-homeowner who removed some of the willows.
To the person or persons who have plowed the snow around the pond, and the dog park(6
acres off of Lewis and Clark), so everyone and their pet could walk the past winter. You are greatly appreciated!
NEXT SEASON VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
1. Weeding Maverick, the main entrance of Valley Grove. Keeping the weeds from the gravel and from
the cracks on the side walk. They can be pulled or sprayed. The previous person used to spray.
2. Pond area Weed Eating: weed eat around the pond where there are no willows, and around both bridges.
The person who used to do this moved. I (Pam) have done it this season, it takes about 1 1⁄4 hours, and
was done every 3 weeks.
3. Trimming Willows at the northern end of the pond need cut way back. I need people who can help cut
and removed the cut willows. If someone has a chipper that can take over 2 1⁄2 inch branches we
can chip them at the pond and the chips can be used around the trees. I am suggesting early
spring to do this before the leaves come out.
4: Mowing the Dog park– 6 acres off of Lewis and Clark. We had Leafy Spurge a noxious weed, the
rancher sprayed it for us this year only. It was suggested we keep this mowed down to help with
noxious weeds. We usually get 1 rough mow a year, this is not working. We do not have the
money to spray the entire acreage or to have the mowing service mow this monthly. I am asking
for help mowing this area. I mowed it the past season, there are only rocks around the
telephone poles, the rest is clear of rocks, it took roughly 16 hours the first time I mowed it. I
would like 3 or 4 people to help me (Pam) mow this. If each person takes an area it will not take as
long.
The HOA does not have any equipment; you will need to use your own equipment.

Neighbors, many of you have asked about the door hangers given out this past week. This was not distributed by the Valley Grove HOA Board of Directors. We are always open to kind and constructive feedback and appreciate anyone who shows concern for our great neighborhood. However, please be aware that by signing up for this contact list your information will be given to a private party not the HOA Board of Directors.
New Trails!
Members of our VGHOA have worked hard the past two years to apply for grants and were officially approved to add new trails to our neighborhood! These will be located as a continuation of our current trails in phases 3-4.
Many of you have presented questions and concerns regarding the location of these new trails. These concerns were addressed in our June meeting and the minutes will be posted in early July.
INVOICES VIA EMAIL
As of July 1, 2024, VGHOA is no longer handling auto-payments via credit card for homeowners.
Homeowners may receive invoices via email. The email will include an option to pay via ACH or credit card.

MAILING CHECKS: Homeowners may still pay dues by mailing a check or dropping off check payments at 1 Bison Trail (next to the water tower).
